Today is our first snow day of the year.
Every time the weather gets chilly we break out some of our kichen classics.
Here is one of the best family recipes we have:
Chicken and Noodles
Dice and Brown two or three chicken breasts seasoned with salt and pepper
One box of chicken broth
One Large bag of Egg Noodles
Dried or fresh parsley
Once the chicken is browned and in a stew pot place the entire box of broth in the pot and add enough water to accommodate the noodles. Bring to a boil and then add the noodles and follow the directions for the noodles accordingly. Once the egg noodles are completely cooked (usually a total time of 25-30 minutes), add fresh or dried parsley as a garnish and serve.
For dessert we usually make cinnamon rolls.
